The Watson
- The Chevrolet Impala is an automobile produced by the American manufacturer Chevrolet from 1958 for the North American market. The first Impala was presented in the display of the General Motors Motorama in 1956.
- These versions showed their new line of vehicles for the coming year. In 1956 the Motorama Car Show step by New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston.
- This first Impala was a Coupe for four passengers, with “a strong taste of Corvette”, which was called Corvette Impala. The show car was made with body of fiberglass as the Corvette.
- The name comes from the African impala antelope.
